Do I need a referral letter?
You DO NOT need a referral letter to see any of our physiotherapists or Sports Physician Dr. Paul Bloomfield.
You MUST HAVE a referral from a Doctor to be seen by the Orthopaedic Specialists Dr. Pinczewski, Dr. Roe and Dr. Jonathan Herald.
What do I need to bring?
Depending on the area being treated, the physiotherapists often require you to change clothes to fully assess the problem area.
We have a selection of gowns and shorts within the clinic to borrow, but you are more than welcome to bring your gear.
Can I use my health fund card?
We have HICAPS system on site which directly communicates with your health fund so you are only required to pay the gap.
Consult your health fund to get an estimation of rebate.
How long will the appointment take?
The initial appointment is allocated 45 minutes.
This is to allow for extra time to discuss the history of presenting problem.
If the physiotherapist requires a follow-up appointment, these are usually shorter duration of around 30 minutes.
Where is the clinic located?
The clinic is on Level 16 of 109 Pitt St, Sydney. The building communicates with the Pitt St entrance of Hunter Connection.
Workers' Compensation / Workcover injuries
Once liability has been accepted, injuries can be treated at the clinic by our Workcover accredited physiotherapists Clint Frazer, David Palethorpe and Jerome Murphy
It is imperative that you have these details upon presentation for your initial appointment:
* Claim number * Insurance Company *Date of Injury
* Claims officer * Doctors' referral * Workplace details
If liability is pending or refused, you will be billed for all consultations.
