David Palethorpe
David graduated from the University of South Australia in 2001. He worked in a private practice in Adelaide for two and a half years, and during this time also provided physiotherapy support for two state league Australian Rules Football teams. He made the transition to the UK in 2004, where he worked in a variety of physiotherapy clinics, including two years in a private practice in the Square Mile in London. After a five year sojourn, David returned to Australia in June 2009. His special interest areas are in sports injuries, lower limb biomechanics, spinal pain/headaches, and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He uses a very “hands-on” manual approach, combined with functional rehabilitation to provide short and long-term relief of symptoms. He is also trained in acupuncture and dry needling, and uses this as an adjunct to normal physiotherapy treatment. In his spare time he is a very keen rock climber and avid traveller but has yet to develop the skills of mastery required for the intra-clinic 'feats of strength' competition.
